Tracy O'Brien is an accomplished interior designer who has been in the interior design business for over seventeen years. Tracy is a fearlessly creative designer who has reinvented a variety of interior spaces from high end residential interiors to Harbourfront cruise ship decoration.
Her portfolio is visible throughout Toronto- as she assisted in many projects including restaurants, bars, music chains and corporate office spaces for all Fortune 500 clients, as well as, being the primary designer on many others. Since becoming a sole owner of Designs by O'Brien, her business has been steadily growing with positive results.
She has been featured in the Toronto Star on numerous occasions, featured in Reno& Home Magazines, has been on television and has been speaking at home shows for over five years.
Tracy also has a passion for teaching and enjoys passing forward her knowledge to students...as they are the future. "We can all learn from each other", she says.
Recently, her "Barbie and Ken" dolls sculpture ( Sketch, Boot It Up- Charity fund raiser) were featured at the "Bata Shoe Museum" for two months and were on "Cityline".They were also photographed and featured in the "Metro News Magazine", in August and September 2010.
Tracy approaches her clients in a straight forward manner, no "fluff", respectfully and with a sense of humour. "Life is too short to not enjoy it- even through the design process".

Tracy is an ARIDO Member, IDC Member, NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer, holds a Bachleor of Arts in Sociology.
As well as designing, Tracy raises money for ALS ( Lou Gehrig's Disease)
annually- as her father has this devastating disease. "There is not
enough awareness of this incurable disease and we need to make society
far more conscious of it. It is deadly, expensive and emotionally
draining for all involved".
